With over two thousand 1.5-MW and 3.0-MW turbines in operation, Sinovel Wind Co. is China's largest manufacturer of turbines – seventh largest in the world. The machines are three-blade, horizontal-axis wind turbines with variable speed control, pitch regulation, and double-fed technology.
